Cooperate with your insurance company and supply the information requested. Your company will investigate your claim, and then move to settle or defend it. Your insurance company will defend you in a court of law if a claim is brought against you, or if you are sued for a claim covered by the policy.
Keep all records. Retaining all records of expenses you incur as a result of the accident is important because you may be reimbursed for them through your policy.
