TANK TIGHTNESS TESTING - A nondestructive
method of determining the integrity of an existing storage tank system.
THERMAL SYSTEM INSTALLATION - Asbestos-containing material applied to pipes, fittings, boilers, breeching, tanks, ducts, or other interior structural components to prevent heat loss or gain or water condensation. THRESHOLD PLANNING QUANTITY - The exposure level determined by EPA at which a chemical is known to be harmful to health, safety, or the environment in an uncontrolled release. TIGHTNESS TESTING - A nondestructive method of determining the integrity of an existing storage tank system. TLVs - Threshold Limit Values. Exposure values assigned by the ACGIH to be used as guidelines for controlling health hazards. TOXIC - Any atmospheric concentration of any substance for which OSHA has established a permissible exposure limit (PEL) that could result in an employee being exposed to more than the established dose or PEL of that substance.
