HTTP - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. A protocol used by the web for transferring files that have been formatted as hypertext. This allows the same document to be seen by many different browsers and computer platforms.

Hyperlink - A link using html coding for webpages used to direct the site visitor to a new location or site.

Hypertext - A document that contains links to other documents.
